Theme apart.
The theme is extinct now but the situation is ubiquitous to every age. Nirmala is one of those novels on womanhood, family, society and life as it is.

Nice story and very well narrated and spell bound.
Entertaining, spell bound,and very well narrated. Loved it thoroughly. Sad ending but acceptable. writer is great

what was the essence of book, what a painful story
Was enchanted by the short story Idgah so tried listening to Nirmala but disappointed. There is no essence to the story at one point the story seemed to be taking a better turn but got worse. The life of Nirmala was an unending pain for no mistake of hers and why I ask, just why?
