Fondsmanagerin Leonie aus Frankfurt fliegt nach Schweden, um in winterlicher Landschaft Weihnachten zu verbringen. Dort angekommen trifft sie auf den alleinerziehenden Vater Sven mit seinem fünfjährigen Sohn Tove. Der Kleine verliebt sich Hals über Kopf in sie. Für ihn ist sie ein Engel ohne Flügel.

Sven verliert ebenfalls sein Herz an Leonie. Gemeinsam umgarnen er und sein Junior den bezaubernden Gast aus Tyskland auf äußerst charmante Weise.

Eigentlich will Leonie sich nicht verlieben, denn schließlich wird sie wieder zurück in ihre Heimat fliegen. Aber Sven, Tove und Labrador Odin geben alles, um sie vom Bleiben zu überzeugen.
