A Book of sport and life!
I loved the beginning of the book, "I hate Tennis". Those words made me curious and anxious to read the rest. It is a well written book which makes you love tennis more and coaxes the athlete in you. He was a relentless athlete . We get an insight to his personal life, his philanthropy and his thoughts . it's a book that keeps you wonder why people at times hate what they are best at. I don't think many of the famous celebrities or athletes would write what they actually felt and thought .

One of the finest Sports Autobiography
If you are tennis fan you don't dare miss this. Even if you are just a sports lover don't think twice as Andre takes you through his pardoxic world with lots of moments of pain, joy, glory & memories...

Andre Agassai always had the game to keep us glued to the game ... OPEN too kept me glued ... very touching and engaging .... very well narrated br Erik Davies .... must be a repeat listen worth more than any motivation book ...,,👍

Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Probably the biggest learning from the story of Agassi's life is that the general trend of people hating their job does not exclude stars like actors, artists, musicians, or sports persons. But we still do it.
Some revelations were startling and felt honest. As a listener, you feel the desire of the person to let his story out, rather than "learn from my life because I am so great".
Trusting the abridged version has not left any major storyline. it was a nice glimpse into Andre's life. whenever it was skipping down the timeline, it was not always clear when in his life it was happening. other than that, a touching story.
The first chapter itself grabs you to listen more.
Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fantastic insight into a misunderstood human
Loved the book and the insights it provides into Agassi. A great listen for sure, it's definitely one of those books where you're like oh, he was going through all of this?!
