Sommer, Sonne, Strand und Meer – Svenja sagt begeistert zu, als sie für ein paar Wochen in der Pension ihrer Tante an der Ostsee aushelfen soll. Auch ihre schräge Verwandtschaft hat sich dort eingenistet, sorgt aber wie üblich eher für Chaos, als dass sie eine Hilfe ist.

Zu Svenjas Überraschung trifft noch ein ganz besonderer Gast ein: ihr attraktiver Chef Adrian, bei dem fast jede Frau Schnappatmung und Schmetterlinge im Bauch bekommt.

Doch leider ist er nicht gerade der geeignete Anwärter für eine sommerliche Romanze. Schließlich kennt Svenja seine Liste mit den 30 Kandidatinnen, die er aktuell dated. Nein, er kommt wirklich überhaupt nicht in Frage! Dumm nur, dass ihr Herz in seiner Gegenwart immer viel zu schnell klopft.

Als dann auch noch ihre Mutter auftaucht und sie mit einer dramatischen Lebenslüge konfrontiert, gerät Svenjas Welt vollends ins Wanken.
