What happens when a boxer finds chemistry with a geek?

Parker Brown can't believe she needs to hire a fake boyfriend. But the head boss prefers to promote employees who are "settled." Thankfully, she's found the perfect candidate, a fellow intellectual looking for some quick cash. What Parker gets is his protective big brother - Rhys Morgan. I wish the male narration was more feelings sensitive. It lacked emotions. It needed more feelings of all types. Infact he was far better when immitating a female voice. The MCs female narration was good.

I'M HAVING A MAJOR BOOK HANGOVER ALREADY after finishing listening to this unputdownable ride. Ahhh.... I freaking need more of Parker and Rhys. They were so amazing together.

I've laughed, swooned, felt teary eyed and grabbed every moment I could to listen to this book. It grabbed me so freaking tight from that first page and didn't let go. Honestly, even after it's done I feel like going and reading it all over again.
AHH... My heart definitely needs more of this sweet ride.

So we have an ex-boxer and an environmentalist. A very unlikely pairing. But what clicks instantly is Parker and Rhys and their wickedly entertaining banter had me giggling and digging for more.

Rhys goes in place of his brother to meet this lady who had hired his brother for a date. What he didn't expect was to meet a cute Spitfire who's all proper and doesn't use cuss words at all.
Rhys' entire life has been his father's gym and fighting and when this unprecedented opportunity shows him a way to save his gym, he grabs it even though he doesn't exactly like it.

Parker wants to impress her boss because this job means the world to her. But the new investor is kinda AH about certain things and seeing as people in relationships are looked more respectably in her boss' eyes, she hires a man to help her attend dates and all.

Right from that first meeting sparks fly like crazy between Parker and Rhys. Rhys might be a brooding and cold exterior kind of guy, but that man has such a big heart and he swoops in and does his best both to help Parker and his gym.

OH my goodness, every moment between these two goes on becoming more and more passion filled as these two don't realize how deeply they were getting close to each other.

I felt all that delicious tension and that burn of wanting the other but doing your best to resist while also having those butterflies in your tummy every time a text came in or call was made.

Ahhh.... I kid you not the way this book made me feel... I was swooning so hard and actually felt my heart racing in excitement watching these two be together yet resist, some minor misunderstandings and some major chemistry pushing them together again and again.

I loved Rhys so much especially for Parker as she's such a sweet girl but so is he such an amazing man. With the way he treats her, is so responsible and juggles with his own past hurts and guilts yet doing his best to correct the situation and turning it to something better.

I really oh so loved both the characters of Parker and Rhys. Both with gentle hearts and such loving natures but together their chemistry could compete with fire itself, it's so freaking hotter.
Though scenes where they are together intimately, I felt the depth between them of all those feelings. 🔥🥵🌶️

I so wanted to be Rhys' girl. Ahhh... Parker is so freaking lucky. 😉

Both the narrators were so dayumm amazing in rendering Rhys' and Parker's voices. They made me feel all the more Rhys' and Parker's characters.
I have loved Alex Kydd as a narrator right from the very first Audiobook I heard.
The way he did the female voice over in this one was so fun. But equally amazing was Elizabeth Hart as she was the perfect Parker. Even her male voiceovers were so perfect.

Parker's parents were such darlings and also her friend Zoe and sister Easton were great.
Reese might be a little immature at the beginning but Rhys' little brother is also a sweet one.
But Rhys' friend, Karlos.. Oohh... Now that one's hot.

I'm so coming back to this book as I'm still sighing and smiling and just the freaking feel of this book. Seriously I can't get enough. Abso-freaking-lutely loved loved this one. 5+🌟 ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
