it was enjoyable. The dramatization is good with good cast.A few stories a bit predictable.

Detective Dalgliesh's character doesn't quite measure up to the brilliance of Sherlock Holmes or Hercule Poirot. He comes across as rather understated, and the stories themselves lack the essential excitement and tension. There's no real drama or flair to them.
