Publisher's Summary

From USA Today best-selling author Willow Winters comes an emotionally gripping, standalone, contemporary romance.

It was never love with Daniel, and I never thought it would be. It was only lust from a distance. Unrequited love maybe. He's a man I could never have, for so many reasons. That didn't stop my heart from beating wildly when his eyes pierced through me. It only slowed back down when he'd look away, making me feel so damn unworthy and reminding me that he would never be mine.

Years have passed, and one look at him brings it all back. But time changes everything.

There's a heat in his eyes I recognize from so long ago, a tension between us I thought was one-sided.

"Tell me you want it." His rough voice cuts through the night, and I can't resist. That's where my story really begins.

Love me some CJ Bloom

I have to say I only stuck with this one simply because I love CJ Bloom. I love her as a narrator. She is amazing and everything I listen to by her is fantastic. She never disappoints me. Colin was great too. I liked him as Daniel.

I did not care for the story. I read Carters books before reading this one and it was even less interested when I found out this is Addison's story. It was ok to see their history and all that, but I did not care for their story whatsoever. Quite frankly I was bored. Had it bot been for the narrators I might have given up on Possessive.

Broken Souls

Wow what a story!!!!
I wasn't sure what to expect when I started reading this book, but once I got started I couldn't put it down. This story is full of emotions, darkness, suspense, angst, love, hurt & amazing chemistry.
Daniel &Addison are both damaged & their hearts are broken. But when they finally unite the chemistry is through the roof. But will the past year them apart.
Without giving too much away, Possessive is a gut wrenching story of emotions. It's worth your time. I loved reading and adding the audible version along with it. The narrators did a great job of bringing out the emotions of Daniel and Addison.
Thank you W Winters for this amazing story

Wasn’t My Favorite, but Still Good

I have to be honest and say that I had a hard time getting into the story at first because I felt that I couldn’t connect with the two main characters. Addison just drove me crazy because she couldn’t make a decision. Daniel was mysterious, but there wasn’t much substance to him. I just felt that I didn’t know him that well. It might have a lot to do with the fact that I read Seth’s series first and there was no mention of Daniel or Tyler. So, I didn’t have a background of them. I understand now why Tyler wasn’t mentioned, and I was really sad reading about what happened to him. He seemed like such a nice guy.

I know that the author try to make Daniel seem very ruthless and uncaring, but he came across as desperate. It’s hard to imagine a man who is supposed to be feared among people act as if he couldn’t live without a woman. That didn’t work for me.

Still, I’m going to give it a pretty good review because I do enjoy Willow’s work. I may like him and Addison a lot better after reading the next few books. I do say that the Cross brothers are very interesting and I do look forward to reading their stories.

Didn’t care for this

First of all, this male narrator voice was cringy, sounding like an old man with a lisp. This is what did it in for me from the start. The female part of the story was always asking questions, doubting, and way too dramatic and needy. I just hate it when there’s so many feelings between people and it’s either shot down or never comes to fruition. I had a hard time even getting through this. Hardly any action. Not worth it IMHO.

Narration

I do not like these two together. He reads really slow and she is fast so I am always adjusting the speed.

It was ok..

This book didn't captivate me the way I thought it would.. maybe it was the back and forth through time. I'm not sure I just know that the characters didn't draw me in
