Grim Tale

Death and destruction is the ultimate finale. Great payoff, as we say goodbye to many of the characters.

Ravenor ends an arc

Ravenor end his hunt for his nemesis.

The thing that really stuck with me in long after I read this story was the cold, somewhat sad ending. Monumental stakes end in a personal confrontation, at least 3 books in the making. It is also a good etup for Dan Abnetts latest returns to the inquisition in the form of 'The Magos' and Pariah.

The characters are done perfectly. Toby Longworth adds nice accents and personality to especially Harlon, Patience and Kara. Toby reads the entire series of the inquisition, which strengthens the characters over time.

I highly recommend the rest of the series.

I look forward to listening to Pariah.

Epic

closing the treaty with a riveting end and great dialogue between the characters. I really hope it will be more books coming out like. this is definitely a book worth listening to and would highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of 40K

Great book. An even Better Trilogy .

I hope the. for more soon. via audible. as this was just too good to end. I do feel the ending was rushed. But hope indeed for more Ravenor adventures.

What you've come to expect from Abnett

Story was good, not the greatest of Dan Abnett's work, maybe it feels that way because you've come to expect too much?
The voice performance was fine, the dialects better than many of the coarser voice choices.
I'd like to have a different type of demon described by Abnett, as this was great, I just didn't think it struck home thematically.

Where are the missing Ravenor volumes?

Any additional comments?

Toby Longworth continues to do Abnett's books proud BUT where, oh where, are the other two volumes of Ravenor? Is that down to Black Library playing silly beggars or Audible?

A good book, but weakest in the serie

This book has too many elements packing into it, result is scattered and jumping. But it's performed superbly.

Brilliant

A fittingly dark finale for the Ravenor. Fantastic story and well read. Up to the high standards of the previous books.

A brilliant ending to a captivating tale!

Hugely enjoyable read (so to speak). Twists and turns that immerse you in the seedy world of cultists in the 40k diegesis.

a very amazing book

this book was amazing and also very emotional with so many characters dying or having things happen to them but I am now up to date. I would honestly suggest this book to anyone. I will leave it at that and say simply amazing.
