About this listen

Right Behind You is a collection of 13 horror stories of different genres. The thing that connects these stories is the emotion of our inner fears that resides in all of us. We might mask these fears, we might even deny them, but they emerge when least expected, and then they begin to encroach upon every aspect of our lives. In this collection of assorted horror stories, you will find noir horror, urban myths, fantasies, campfire tales, stories of phobias, gore, and even a story that takes place entirely on chat. An e-horror story, if you could call it that. Just like a roller coaster is a source of unexpected adventure, and you won’t find its shocks and thrills unless you actually ride on it, you won’t get the real experience of Right Behind You unless you listen to it. So, sit back, fasten your seatbelt, and plunge into the drive.

it will indeed make you look RIGHT BEHIND YOU. the stories are Indian in context but they are written in such a manner that I believe anybody would be able to relate to them.

Some of the stories are good and some are just alright with a little too much of forced dialogues, but the narration seemed not up to the mark. When some of the side characters were being voiced, it sounded like there was a good range to the narrator. But the overt seriousness with which the narration has been done overall takes away from the experience a bit. I used 1.5x narration speed to make it sound a little better and that's what I suggest to other readers as well!

Read at 1.5x or it's too slow!
