Emmi und Lenni fahren in ein Ritterferienlager - und ausgerechnet Pitt darf mit! Dabei wäre Pferdinand doch eindeutig das bessere Ritterpferd, denn er ist im Gegensatz zu dem schwarzen Hengst tapfer und furchtlos. Eben genau so, wie ein richtiges Ritterpferd zu sein hat! Auch Emmi ist im Ferienlager zunächst nicht so ganz glücklich, denn als Mädchen darf sie kein Ritter sein, sondern nur ein doofes Burgfräulein. Gut, dass Pferdinand mit seinen Freunden Paule, Tomtom und Bernd beschlossen hat, einfach heimlich ins Lager nachzukommen.
