Welcome to their kingdom....

Cole Covington is the most popular heartbreaker at school.
Every guy wants to be him and every girl wants to screw him.
Except me. His devastatingly good looks, golden arm, and flirty smiles don't do it for me anymore, because I know what's lurking underneath the star quarterback's gorgeous armor.

At least I thought I did.

Sometimes the most beautiful people hide the ugliest truths.
And sometimes the only way to save someone is to walk beside them through hell.

Sawyer Church is the bible-thumping nerd of Royal Hearts Academy.
Girls pick on her and guys don't notice her.
Except me.
Sweet, curvy, and sarcastic, she's impossible to ignore.
No matter how much I try.
Everyone at school has her pegged as the chubby, Jesus-loving geek, but unlike them, Sawyer's real and never pretends to be someone she's not.

Until I ask her to be my fake girlfriend.

Sometimes the most beautiful souls hide the greatest pain. And sometimes the only way to save someone is to fight for them.

This is book 2 in the Royal Hearts Academy series. Please note: Although this is Cole and Sawyer's book, it's also a stand-alone.

Warning: Royal Hearts Academy is a new adult/high school series of standalones filled with drama, a touch of angst, and boys who are bad to the bone. The characters are flawed. If you're looking for a safe, sweet romance with nice heroes and heroines who are perfect all the time, this series is not for you.

Wow

Such a good book with so many lessons. Without the author being preachy she makes you fall in love with these characters and look within yourself and look at how you can be a better friend, parent or lover. The narrators were amazing as always.

5 STARS

This book killed me in all the best ways! I took forever to finish it because I knew just knew Ashley Jade would crush my heart it her palm so I was scared to get to the end. This book is pretty long and I felt that it needed to be. It’s like we got two stories in one. The first half was more focused on Cole and the second half on Sawyer. I like that the author took the time to show how their relationship progressed in a believable manner. Their story isn’t always pretty but they are both struggling with their own demons. We finally get the full story about why happened with Liam and it hurt my heart just like it did in Cruel Prince. I loved all the side characters even more in this book. Bianca grew on me and Oak well Oak made me fall for him even more! I can’t wait for the last two books! I just hope my poor heart can take it.

Narrators were amazing! They both portrayed the characters perfectly.

Definitely a great next book in the series

I thought I wouldn’t like sawyer and cole’s story as much as Dillion and jace, boy was I wrong. This story had so much emotion it was never a dull moment. The writer does an excellent job of making you feel what the characters are going through. I love that it addresses some body conscious issues and the effects that fat shaming and bullying can have on people. Really good read. Warning they do use the F bomb a lot but if you can get past that I’m sure you will enjoy. Can’t wait to here bianca’s story next.

Love love love this series

I absolutely love this series. It’s my favorite, hands down. I read the e-book, but when I saw that the audiobook was available I had to purchase it and listen to it. I have to say I am not disappointed. The narrators did an amazing job! I will definitely be listening to this again. I already purchased the Wicked Princess kindle e-book and will be pre-ordering the audiobook. Ashley Jade did an amazing job with this series. I can’t wait for the 4th installment!

5-star Performance

The narration of this book is top of the line. The narrators just absolutely killed it with feeling and talent. They truly made this book even better than it was. I enjoyed the book - for being traditional romance (I read taboo) it was very sweet. The author always does a great job - no matter the genre.

Loved it!!!

This book was really good!!! Parents of teens should think twice about their kids and this brings to light a couple of issues to not ignore!!! The only thing is I wished the epilogue was a little better. Other than that loved it!!!

My Heart

This book! Oh. My. Gosh! This pulled you into so many different emotions. I laughed (Oakley is hilarious), cried (gut-wrenching for both Sawyer and Cole), and got angry (the mom). I still loved it. I wish it didn’t have so much profanity, but I love how they healed each other. So sweet.

Teddy and Lila were fantastic!

Love this series

Made me feel all sorts of feelings, bring up son of my own demands. But having dead that this is one of the best books Iv listened to in a long time, made me burst out lathing while walking in the park, made me burst in to tears while stacking shelf’s at work (I got some funny looks that shift) I love Cole how he loves so deeply, he has his sadness and guilt about his mother’s and twins death but he learns to love deeply. Worth the credits xoxo

It is captivating and so relatable!

I love this, actually way more then the first book. The characters and their struggles are so much more real, and I felt both Cole and Sawyer's pains and struggles. I legit laughed out loud, as well as crying my eyes off. And the message off love, that it is not always perfect and is about forgiveness too, is really good and healthy to hear. I love the ending were Sawyer takes a good look at herself and realizes that she has a problem, and that that in itself is a GD hard thing to do, but is the first step to get better. She is human too, and when things get hard she lashes out, just like any other teenage girl would do. That is so nice to see. No one is perfect, but we all learn as we get older.

Stunning story, fantastic narrators

I thought Cruel Prince was good...Ruthless Knight is better. This had everything. Bully to lovers angst, side character drama, laugh out loud moments (Thanks Oakley and Bianca) impactful moments and more. It was 600+ pages and I still feel like it could have had 5 or 10 more chapters. I'm kicking myself for not reading this a while ago. The writing was so crisp and as many times as I laughed out loud I was wiping tears away. Ms. Jade knocked it out of the park and I have no doubt Wicked Princess will knock me harder on my tush. I was given a complimentary copy for an unbiased review. My opinions haven't been altered in any way. Teddy Hamilton is a BIG fave of mine so this spurred me on to pick the audio.
