About this listen

Jayavant Dalvi has depicted a village in South Kokan in this novel. It holds us with a host of interesting characters of that time. A really aggressive Pavte Mastar, constantly fighting Aba Babuli; the theatrist Jiva Shingi & others, come against a lively backdrop of Ravalanth Mandir, the Utsav, the primary school, and the Sunday market! These are the people whose lives are very open, candid in their entire environment. This could be termed as autobiography of Aapu, or these could be just memoirs, or these could be just funny anecdotes, or this could be termed as novel. Whatever it is, it makes you laugh, and makes you feel nostalgic; it is something that you want again and again... An unforgettable masterpiece!!

Softer music, less of music would have made this a better experience. The loud and continuous music sometimes ate up the words and made them lose their weight. The quality of reading was exceptional and makes this experience to the 4 star level. Loud music and too frequent music lost that one star of the review.

Softer music would have been better

mention of pandit nehru is made as Prime Minister Nehru at the time of satyagrah which i think is wrong as its pre-independence story.

Unnecessary loud music ...Otherwise story is good
