A romantic novella set in the 1880s.
Strong-willed Miss Mary Dunaway had a plan for her future and she would stop at nothing to reach her goal of working with the poor in London. She was even willing to ask a gentleman, a stranger, to help her.
Twelve years later, the same gentleman reappears in her life. Although he doesn't seem to recall her, she remembers every detail of the kisses they shared. The attractive Lord Fellington apparently sees her as the saintly, nun-like matron of the foundling asylum. Very well, she made her bed and now she lies in it, alone.
Warning: this story contains graphic sex ...but only a few minutes of it. This is a novella (longer than a short story but shorter than a novel). Included in this download: the first chapter of the novel Someone to Cherish.

Too short for me
Sweet story but really too short for it to be satisfying. I would have liked more character development and would have liked to know where their relationship would go from there.
The narrator is professional but not my favorite for this genre.

Cute story, but…
Although a cute, short story, the sex scene was completely unnecessary! I skipped over it! I’m not okay with it. The narrator was mediocre, not bad, just read the book, no voices.

Too short and completely unrealistic
This story is very short and very hard to believe. No matter the attraction or the memories, I don’t believe that you would do what they did in this book. Although I like the concept of the book, I wish it had been longer so that it was more believable. I would not recommend this book.

Loved this short story
An enjoyable short story, well written with likeable characters and excellent narration. I highly recommend this short and sweet audiobook
