This is not like one of those serious books.. I started and finished it straight 3 hrs in a row.. I couldn't stop laughing. I was listening to this when I was commuting to my office and people started starring at me they way I was going crazy with the headphones on.. Oh God.. Such a nice book with lot of fun and a serious message behind them.. I loved Ellen's voice and the way she narrated the whole book..

When I read / listen to a book, I expect to take away a few things... could be humour, self discipline, some great ideas etc. Apart from one chapter in which she advices people to be on time, frankly I didn't find this book entertaining. I do like Ellen, but I think she could have done much much better.

The book is funny however I didn't like the narration of Ellen, which is quite surprising because I love to watch her shows. It felt like she is reading without any expression.
And then repeating something to make it funny is ok, but repeating so many times, makes it boring.
Some utterly useless chapters like making noise of animal was neither interesting nor funny.

Loved it. Ellen is an absolutely adorable comedian. Love her delivery, so I guess the audiobook would be better than the paperback. Her jokes are just so light and refreshing. Makes you smile from within.
