Entertaining story and narration

This is the third book in the latest series from Layla Hagen and was a great addition to the series. This is Declan Maxwell’s story and the woman who brought him to his knees, Elizabeth (Liz) Watson.
From the first chapter I was hooked on the story that Ms. Hagen wove. The chemistry between Declan and Liz was intense and the sparks certainly flew between them. This book was everything that I was hoping it would be.
I really enjoyed the development of their relationship and the love that they found together. The Maxwell family had me laughing out loud on a number of occasions, I just love the relationship and that they always have each others’ back and are all up in one anothers business.
When Liz is injured she is surprised when Declan volunteers to take care of her. After all most of their interactions have been fiery. I liked how sassy, feisty and determined Liz is to make a success of her bakery. Declan is swoon worthy and just like his brothers I fell for him quickly.
I fell hard and fast for Declan and Liz, they were well suited to one another. However it is the love and camaraderie among the Maxwell’s that really takes this book and series to another level.
Another great story from Layla Hagen and one that ticked all the boxes for me. The narration by Jacob Morgan and Savannah Peachwood was engaging and they brought the story and characters to life for me.

Too cliché for my taste

If you are looking for a spiced up Disney romance, this your jam. I found the plot a bit unrealistic. The dialogue cliché. The entire book, so little actually happens. The sexual encounters border on comical. Best part …narration by Jacob Morgan. The man could narrate a calculus textbook and make it a pleasure to listen.

This was not one of my favorite books. It wasn’t very interesting to me. The series is supposed to be about the Maxwell Brothers but this book was more about Liz who becomes Declans girlfriend. The only thing I liked about it was Jacob Morgan’s voice. Savannah Peachwood’s female voice is just okay but her male voice is just terrible. Sorry Savannah. I won’t read any of the other books related to this series.

Loved it!

I am thoroughly enjoying this new series by Layla Hagen following the lives and loves of the Maxwell brothers. This grumpy/sunshine story starts with Declan purchasing a house with Liz as a tenant living in the guest house. Their initial meetings were not particularly friendly, but soon enough they realize that they have both made unfair judgements about each other. The entire Maxwell family is included in this book as well and brings a cohesiveness to the entire series. Low angst, plenty of steam, and heartwarming family ties makes this a perfect easy listen with a satisfying HEA. Jacob Morgan and Savannah Peachwood are outstanding and we’re a perfect pairing for these characters.

Good…

continuation of the Maxwell brothers. My only complaint is that they fall in love a bit to quickly. And each brother goes on and on about how beautiful their love interest is. Story 3.5.

Great listen but a little slow.

Enjoyed this audiobook but it was a bit slow.
Seemed a bit too fairytale-like.

Good book. I think you will enjoy listening to this book. The character are enjoyable, interesting to listen.

Wonderful story

I absolutely loved Show Me Forever by Layla Hagen. I devoured this sweet, sexy and oh so delicious story right from the start. Declan is the serious lawyer Maxwell brother, but underneath that exterior is one sexy, swoonworthy, romantic and supportive man who will do anything to make Liz happy. I also loved Liz who was independent, hardworking and sassy who brought fun and some light-hearted moments into Declan’s life. It was such a joy to see these two fall in love. Narrators Savannah Peachwood and Jacob Morgan were terrific bringing the characters and story to life in this audiobook. They were able to capture each characters’ personalities and emotions without missing a beat and the story flowed seamlessly. Another amazing book about love, family and friendship.
