Publisher's Summary

Buried in the catacombs beneath the fortress of Landmoor lies the Silverkin, an ancient talisman that can overcome any Forbidden magic. Thealos Quickfellow has the right to claim the Silverkin but knows little about the deadly consequences befalling those who wield it.

Before he can lay claim to it however, he must first slip beyond the web of Sorian who have beset Landmoor and battle among themselves for supremacy. On his journey, Thealos will learn personally of the sacrifices required to become a Sleepwalker and how to use the Silverkin to save his people. But will using it destroy him?

Yet an other amazing adventure from Jeff Wheeler!

Time After Time Jeff Wheeler takes you on an adventure. This series is unlike the others yet gathers concepts from the other books. I love how the stories and series have some connections but the reader doesn't have to start from book 1 to understand book 20, without being redundant for the true fan. These books are fantastic and I recommend them to all my friends.

More please!

I HAVE to know what happens once Quickfellow takes over as governor. Does he end up with Stasi? Or the empress? I have to know more about how all of this ends!

Neil's "S" kills the book again

Neil's voice needs appropriate recording to drown out his piercing "S". My ears can't take it and I was unable to get past the first chapter of either book in this series because of it.

I got this book because I love Jeff Wheeler's other works. I struggled to finish.

Intriguing and engaging

I found the reading to be difficult to follow. The reader was quiet and hard to hear.
I found the story more understandable when reading so well as listening to it. It made it easier to follow. But it is a very good book.

Maybe better as a book instead of audible

Good overall but the plot moves slowly. Also, there is so much going on that it was difficult to connect all of the moving pieces until I was well in to the books. This is a sequel to Landmoor. Jeff’s more recent books are better but this is still a worthwhile read.

Couldn’t Pay Attention

I’m a huge Jeff Wheeler fan. Have read all his other books. I couldn’t follow this one. I’d realize a few chapters had gone by and I had no idea what was going on. I must have reread half the book trying to follow the story and just couldn’t get into it or connect with the characters. May have been better off in two books to better establish the characters and complex storyline. There was too much history to follow. Very disappointed.
