Dabei kommt er Geschichten auf die Spur, die fesselnder sind als jeder Western: In Bodie hob man Gräber mit Dynamit aus; in Skidoo wurde Hootch Simpson gleich zweimal gehängt und einmal geköpft. Am Ende stößt Capus auf Louis Munzinger, einen Bierbrauer, der ursprünglich ein Oltner war und einen Großneffen namens Ernst Munzinger hatte, der zum Kreis der Hitler-Attentäter vom 20.
