Chase knows better than to trust anyone from the Internet, but Zoe's saucy challenge has totally caught his interest - and her girl-next-door personality is keeping it. He's been burned enough to know he needs to keep his heart close. But his feelings for Zoe might be a lot more than just an online flirtation. He just has to convince her...

😀

So Good! It was really funny. Interesting mention of James Cruz and the Monterran Royals. I was surprised Bellamy Sullivan didn't have a cameo at the mention of stylists and dresses.
I read and listened to this book twice already, it is that good. The narrator was awesome.

MY TAKE
This is a fun read, and Wilson knows how to build sexual tension without crossing the line into open door scenes which I prefer not to read about. The story did seem to center a lot on the physical parts of the relationship, which was my only complaint. I would have loved to see just a bit more of the mental/emotional connection Zoe and Chase have going for them. They're there. They just take the back seat to the physical attraction.

I listened to the audiobook, and the narrator was great!

How old were they again?

The H/h seemed very immature at moments. The dialogue reminded me of someone in high school, maybe junior high, at times. Also the narrator was horrible! Her voice for a grown man sounded like a preteen surfer. The moments when it should have been sensual or steamy it just wasn’t! She did NOT deliver!

Ironic

I think this was my favorite book in this series. With that being said, I thought it was kind of funny that even though Zoe was the one who was waiting to have sex until marriage, she was the one who was always wanting Chase to be more physical. Also, the scenes of them passionately kissing got a little bit uncomfortable as the narrators voice was breathy.

Offensive to Autistics

I enjoy cheesy bad romance books and this one had me laughing so hard, especially when the bundling board came out. I about died. Zoey’s character was hilariously dumb and the ongoing of hours of “why won’t he kiss me” had me cry laughing.
What’s offensive is the “script” about an ASD person who is being played by an NT. I know this is fictional, but this idea of an NT person playing an ASD person is gross. The ASD character is always portrayed as a caricature in films and tv. Shame on this author for not doing proper research and speaking with actual autistics. I would had rated this book higher if it weren’t for this.

#Love this book

I have read Starstruck several times. It is one of my favorite romances. Chase and Zoey’s story is beautiful. I love how they meet and get to know each other. The novel is a clean sweet story. Sariah Wilson is a very talented author that adds swoony, sassy, fun to each of her novels.

DNF

Crazy fan stalks celeb and he’s into it. Hated the premise. Couldn’t get very far in
