Publisher's Summary

"Sexy, sweet, and emotional. Strung packs a punch straight to my heart." (Ilsa Madden-Mills, Wall Street Journal best-selling author)

Micah Beck is tempting, talented, and addictive to the last drop. Not to mention, he's completely confident in all that he does. Especially with those fingers, and I can't deny that it's such a turn on.

Micah is the last thing I expect to find wandering around my brother's beach house, naked, only wearing an acoustic guitar, but he's the first thing that has ever had me craving for just one "anything goes" night.

My plan was to come visit my brother for the summer and hopefully find a little inspiration for my book at my brother's bar on the beach.

A little inspiration is more than what I get slapped with. Talk about wanting to make love to a voice. I never knew exactly what that meant until I heard Micah playing at Vortex, but now just the thought of anything that has to do with that man's tongue leaves my whole body vibrating with a hunger I'm not sure I can fight.

Just one taste. One night. No strings.

I'm a liar if I said I thought that would be possible, because if I thought his guitar playing abilities were hot, seeing him in charge, demanding orders at Vortex, has me completely coming undone and about ready to fall at his feet and give him anything he desires, despite the fact that my brother warned us to stay away from each other. He's a master at getting whatever he wants with little or no effort at all and I can't help but to hope he wants me.

Micah is cocky, with a body that screams trouble with every rock-hard muscle. He's wrong in every way and...I'm completely strung.

Hot, steamy, great characters, perfect narration!

Audio-book: Narrators – Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell

Wow! These narrators nailed it! I couldn’t imagine any other voices for Tegan and Micah as well as the rest of the gang that comes with these characters. I absolutely loved the rough sexy edges and growly emphasis when Micah was speaking. Both Mr. Arden and Ms. Mitchell do a stupendous job of both male and female voices and together bring all the feels to this audio!

Tegan is off to spend the summer with her brother in hopes to write her next book while enjoying some time with him. She expected the sun and beach but she never expected Micah. Their first meeting was surprising and something I am not a fan of. However, once Micah sets his eyes on Tegan he’s gone for her. This is the tried and true “best friend’s little sister” trope but I’ve never read one where the brother was so totally adamant as well as out spoken about keeping the hero and heroine apart. I totally understood where he was coming from and was anxious to find out how these characters were going to find their HEA.

This is a fast read/listen with some awesome secondary characters. The steam was enough to melt my earbuds and I’m sure had anyone looked my way while I was listening they would’ve caught me blushing and drooling.

Really enjoyed this story

Really enjoyed this story, and the realism of it.

Loved that it was different for a brothers best friend scenario. Micah sounds hot and self assured of his future until Tegan steps into his world. It was funny that the guys kept reading Tegan’s book over her shoulders. Oh and how’s she needs to rewrite the ending.

Loved the narration as always with these two. Never disappointed with Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell.

5 Stars Isn't Enough!!!!

This is the first book I have read/listened to by this author and it certainly won't be the last! I really enjoyed this story and the character development was fantastic as was the tension and chemistry between Micah and Tegan. You could practically feel the tension jumping off of the pages. This story packs it all in...a rockstar romance, best friend's little sister, forbidden attraction and then on top of that it really packs in all the emotions. I could feel my heart drop and break just a little while hoping for a HEA. Victoria delivers a masterpiece in all aspects as far as I'm concerned with what I want in a good romance. Well done!!!! The narrators made this perfect and really were able to make the story come alive for me and bring the angst and the love to life.

The brother was tiresome, Joe Arden was awesome

The brother repeating himself and acting like a domineering ass over his sister really started to irritate me. Teagan can't date who she wants because her brother just outright says so, she can't move when she wants because her parents don't want her to. She's not a child, she's not a teen, she's an adult.
I really was just waiting for her to tell everyone off and live her own life.
Narration, Joe Arden is always top notch, Maxine Mitchell is a one note narrator, everyone always sounds pained and distraught, always.
I think in the end if it wasn't for Joe's voice and excellent performance I wouldn't have made it to the end.

The bro code is so stupid

I'm so sick of these books where guys can't go for their friends sisters. They love and trust their friends with their lives, but not their sister. I just don't get it. So stupid. OMG the way it was repeated over and over was so annoying. Don't worry you can't forget about it because you will be told every other paragraph.

not for me

the whole time I wanted the
heroine to just stand her ground , get pushy instead of getting her ass whooped.
1st time reading this author and the last
to much off a feel good story with no depth. good concepts but the ending felt rushed, it was drummed into the reader how everything centred on express and the crushing problem between mates but when it came down to it. the story loosened and didn't cover what was needed to the reader. we as readers were set up with a huge clusterffuck coming, then In 2 chapters it's all fizzled.
not for me,
Aaron and Maxine are also not my favourite narrator's i just thought new author id try again.
