Publisher's Summary
She was a broken angel who had the light beat right out of her.
He was the man responsible for her life, her protector....
He never expected to fall for the fragile woman, with soft eyes and lips that begged to be kissed.
He knew what she saw when she looked at him, a ruthless fighter, a man with a broken past, too far gone to be reached, sinking deeper and deeper into the darkness.
Still, somehow her light reached him, the innocence inside her called to him, and the moment her soul touched his, he was tamed, ensnared in her love.
But love comes at a cost, and in this world, you pay with your life. With all the surrounding danger, he doesn’t know if he can protect her. Not only from himself, but also from a past that refuses to let go.

Tame Me – Sophie and Roman
This was another good addition to the Rossi Crime Family series. This was Sophie and Roman’s story. Sophie is one of the young women to be sold (her father sold her). When Ivan released them all, Sophie would not go. Returning to her father would be much worse. Ivan has Roman take her until he figures out where to put her. I thought this was a very good book, especially how Sophie actually tamed Roman. Roman was something else in Ivan’s story and he was not likeable. It was great how Roman and Ivan hooked up with Xander (from Keep Me) for help against the people who sold women in Xander’s territory. Heather Firth and Austin Rising did a great job with the narration.

End of series
So this is the end of a series which I didn’t realize. I had to speed up to 1.8 to have the dialogue make sense otherwise it was like listening to an old couple having a conversation. The main female characters was really dumb and at times her dialogue was tedious and didn’t add to the story line. It was never explained why the male character was so messed up. Maybe if you’ve experienced the first books in the series this story would make more sense and maybe be more enjoyable.

Do not recommend
One of the worst toxic relationships I have read. This book was not good. The main female character was just dumb and naive. The male main character is an addict who put his hands on her in anger while he was high. Then he was all poor me and she agreed.

Rossi Series
I’ve listened to the entire Rossi series so far. I was starting to get bored with the virgin, angry guy, and pregnancy ending so this was kind of a breath of fresh air, kind of.

Really entertaining
I loved Sophie and Roman’s story. It does involve a subject that is disturbing but the unfortunate reality is the trafficking of females is real.

Great
I love books that hook me in right away like this one did. The guy narrator could have been a bit better but all in all very good listen.

Quick listen
This was lot’s of graphic sex & dirty talk, SOOOO of course I finished it! lol the story was so, so and their “love story” happened really fast. The narration was good except when the male narrator did a woman’s voice it sounded like a munchkin. Glad it was included in the membership

Dark Romance
Will be difficult subject matter for some. Young woman is rescued by a bit older man known in his circles as brutal. Not any blood shed, still there are other ways to do away with an enemy. In this story some justice is served, love is found and some redemption is met. Narration was good with a little trouble changing to a male, female voice. Story moved along connecting all the dots. Not a cliffhanger but there could be more to come with these characters.

Too much profanity
I don’t mind the odd f word for effect but there were five in the first minute of the first chapter. It just put me off. Maybe the author was forming the character but it did nothing for me. I didn’t bother to listen after that.

Excellent story
I loved this story right from the start. 2 people who have suffered a terrible hurt brought together under very difficult beginning. This is a story of love and how it can conquer even those who have shattered hearts. Highly recommend read.

Presents an inappropriate sexual relationship.
Good story line however it appears to condone a man abusing a position of trust to instigate a sexual relationship with a women as long as they are the 'hero' and have intentions to 'own' them moving forward. Further the dialogue around the women agreeing to unprotected sex is concerning as the women is coerced by the 'hero'.

This Would Have Been 5 Stars...
For the performance if it had of been just the male narrator. The female voice for a guy like him is all wrong, she has 0 sex appeal whereas the guy has loads. I've had so many audiobooks ruin for me by mismatched narrator's and most have been ruined by female's. I guess they all can't be as great as Kai Kennicot!
The story was OK, but a lot of it was repetitive scenes just said in slightly different ways. The sex scenes also were repetitive and I only listened to them if they were from the male P.O.V, otherwise I skipped them because I just don't enjoy them from the female. This is an OK book to listen to in a car journey, or something. Remember Me is slightly better than this one, but again it was ruined for me by the mismatched voices.
