 थॉमस अल्वा एडिसन (११ फेब्रुवारी, इ.स. १८४७ – १८ ऑक्टोबर, इ.स. १९३१) याने विजेचा दिव्याच़ा शोधलावला. तसेच, त्याचे ग्रामोफोन इत्यादींसारखे अनेक शोध सुप्रसिद्ध आहेत.जेव्हा आपण दिवा लावण्याकरिता बटण दाबतो किंवा सिनेमा बघतो, रेडिओ ऐकतो, फोनवर बोलतो, ते केवळ एडिसनने लावलेल्या शोधांमुळेच़. फेब्रुवारी ११, इ.स. १८४७ रोजी अमेरिकेतील ओहायो राज्यामधील मिलान या गावी एडिसनचा जन्म झ़ाला. तो फक्त ३ महिने शाळेत गेला. कारण वर्गातील मास्तरांनी हा अतिशय 'ढ' आणि निर्बुद्ध विद्यार्थी काहीही शिकू शकणार नाही असा शिक्का एडिसनवर मारला होता. असा हा एडिसन १८६९ मध्ये टेलिग्राफ इंजिनिअर झाला. त्याने लावलेल्या शोधांची नोंद करणेही कठीण आहे. या जगविख्यात शास्त्रज्ञाने विजेच़ा बल्ब, फिल्म, फोनोग्राफ, ग्रॅहॅमचा फोनमधील सुधारणा वगैरे अनेक शोध लावले म्हणूनच त्याची जीवनकहाणी सर्वात प्रभावी आहे.©2020 Storyside IN (P)2020 Storyside IN
