About this listen

Psychologist Margot Scott has a picture-perfect life: a nice house in the suburbs, a husband, two children and a successful career.

On a warm spring morning Margot approaches one of her clients on a busy train platform. He is looking down at his phone, with his duffel bag in hand as the train approaches. That’s when she slams into his back and he falls in front of the train.

Margot’s clients all lie to her, but one lie cost her family and freedom.

A fast-paced psychological thriller for fans of The Silent Patient.

If this would've been a movie or actual reading I might be able to predict the ending buf Aimee Horne narrated perfectly. True thriller, I would love a sequel a twist of the ending.

Brilliant story and more so brilliant narration

The story is about a psychologist and how her work life affects her family. 1st half of the book is good, but the second half becomes predictable. The book finishes with a twist that just hits you in the face. The characters are flawed, because of that, their actions may seem inexplicable. It is a good read if you are a fan of psychological thrillers. I did not have any issue with the narrator. The male and female voices are distinguishable, and also the children's voices were believable. My only complaint is that in the summary of this book, it's likened to "The Silent Patient", which is overpraising.

The plot is predictable, but the twist at the end!

From the start, till the end, it grasped all my attention. All the characters are brilliant. The narrator did fantastic job! The most awesome book on this app for sure. I'll never forget!
Thanks alot for writing this book and narrating it so well.

What an Amazing Journey!

I kept waiting for the story to build up. A psychiatrist with a almost dumb intellect despite ac close call in personal life in the past. A childish twist after 7 hours of routine story. 3 stars.

Waste of listening time and credit
