Not what I expected, a surprise hit with my 9yo
Would you listen to Thalia Kids' Book Club: Guys Read Terrifying Tales again? Why?
My 9 year old aspiring author daughter loves this selection. It's an hour long panel discussion with each author writing an excerpt from their story, followed by a Q&A about the writing process, and ending with some kids reading their starts for scary stories. It's always nice to hear authors reading then describing their process.
Would you ever listen to anything by the authors again?
Yes
Which character – as performed by Jon Scieszka – was your favorite?
He played Jon Scieszka throughout.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes
Any additional comments?
The description could be better, but this worked out well for my family.

Not worth it
Not worth it for any price. Very disappointed. This is a group of incomplete stories.

Left wanting
Is there anything you would change about this book?
Some of the stories whilst highly entertaining felt as if there should be more to them, be able to be expanded and brought into the fore. Whilst fun and interesting I was left a little wanting. The readers being the authors themselves brought a new twist on the readings.
