About this listen

There’s a serial killer on the loose, bent on working his way through the alphabet. And as a macabre calling card he leaves beside each victim’s corpe the ABC Railway Guide open at the name of the town where the murder has taken place.

Having begun with Andover, Bexhill and then Churston, there seems little chance of the murderer being caught – until he makes the crucial and vain mistake of challenging Hercule Poirot to frustrate his plans…

"I listened to another Agatha Christie novel, Hercule Poirot, on Audible. It was narrated by Hugh Fraser from Amazon Audible. He narrated it very well, conveying the emotions of the character and the voice modulation. His narration was excellent. The reason I liked this novel is that it is not written as a heroic story, but is written with a lot of emotion. A murder happens, and then more murders happen. What could be the reason for this murder? For what purpose does the murderer commit these murders? Hercule Poirot keeps asking until the end. This novel is interesting to read because it involves many other characters besides him emotionally. I listened to it with great interest."

A fine crime thriller novel.
