Unexceptional

I'd hate to say "The Affair" was a waste of time but I couldn't identify with the characters. I really don't know why. It may have been the narration; the way it was presented or the content. I just couldn't relate.

Good story but performance brought it down

Feminine vocal for male parts did not work. Very distracting from story line. Kind of hard to follow Alpha male with high raspy voice.

over all a good easy listen, the narrator was ok but room for improvement on the male voice.

So so.

Dislike the narrator. Her male voice sounded like she had a sore throat. It distracted from the book. Was able to finish the book but left disappointed.

Interesting soap opera

I was never into television soaps, but this written one was kind of interesting. I could understand the hero in this one. His baggage made sense.

Strong Women Prevail

I like the way this author writes strong women. The third in a series, it’s another winner. I liked Jewel and how she handled her relationship with Piers, the playboy of the brothers. Love runs deeper than blood. Nice audiobook and well read.

Read this series.

I loved this series. They storylines kept me captivated throughout without any frustrating repetitions or draw out plots. It was a delightful change from so many other books I’ve listened to lately that all sound the same.
