Unfortunately, reality soon catches up with him, and he falls behind on his payments. As a result, everything they own—including the parrot—ends up at the auction block.
In a comical twist, the parrot's antics lead to a disruption at the auction, creating an embarrassing moment for both Ferguson and his wife, and bringing the proceedings to a standstill.
