PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.
©2019 Althea Press (P)2019 Audible, Inc.Things that could have been better is that it seems like the examples of situations and how you can apply the stoic principles, actions and values doesn’t help in establishing the point. They are quite obvious that it’s not coming from 1st hand experience of the author.
Having said that, I would have have felt let down, had the title been ‘A practical guide’. Since it clearly states that it’s ‘ A beginner’s guide’, it does the part of establishing the basics really well. Now I am comfortable to proceed to Marcus Aurelius’s Meditations and Seneca’s Letters from a stoic. Next in my list.
