Publisher's Summary

It's just over a week until Sam will be Binding with Jared, and the only thing she wants is to spend that time relaxing and preparing for the ceremony. Unfortunately, she seems to be asking too much of fate, because suddenly she's lumbered with a number of distractions that have the potential to postpone, or even cancel, the Binding.

There's a guarded fiance to crack, a complicated assignment to deal with, Jared's ex to alienate, and a bunch of snobbish Master Vampires to win over - or offend, whichever. On the upside, things couldn't possibly be any worse, could they? Actually, yes they could.

Due to a cruel twist of fate, something strange is happening to Sam - something that is changing her in ways she doesn't like or understand. With the help of Jared and those closest to her, she has to not only handle the threats to the Binding Ceremony, but find a way to fix what has been done to her - and fast.

The best narrators

I enjoyed the story though maybe not quite so much as the first book, but the narrators. They nailed the hero and heroine yet again.

Love this series!!!

I really loved this book even more than the first book. The male narrator even grew on me more in this book. Love how tough Sam is for a heroine. Love the world, characters, humor, & story created. They are vampires not humans so you gotta leave behind those human morals at the door when reading paranormal.

Enjoyed it

I enjoy her books. However the only part about this audio book that is annoying is there is an error. The narrarator mentions around chapter 7 or 8. Then she goes back to reading the story. It is annoying. Why didn't your editors edit that out. Why did she even audio that in the book while she was narrating?

Even better than the first book !

This book was hard to put down. It moves right along, well read. I have loved Justine Eyre for some time and this time PJ's reading was much better than the first - more realistic. Good story, good writing, good narrators...what's not to love!

better...

The narration was really good. I would listen to Justine Eyre and P.J. Ochlan again. This second book was much better than the first. Now that this couple is officially together, there wasn't that constant back and forth that came off kind of immature. I can finally see why so many reviews were raving about Jared. He wasn't a jerk in this second book. He was also very protective and possessive of Sam. There is just something about this that kept me from loving it still. Saying that, I still feel like I need to read the next book.

other great vampire story!

I'm bias I love vampire novels. It just gets a little annoying with so such vivid details of sex and not as much of the story line.

An Amazing Story That Doesn't Let You Go!

Suzanne Wright is still a relatively new-to-me author and this is only the second book of hers I've read but definitely wont be the last. I love her writing style; the pace she set for her story, the characters she creates and the gripping plot-lines. I love that this book brought out so many emotions; yes, I did growl like a wild woman at times in frustration, I wanted to hide from the violence and cruelty and yes, I did shed a tear or two. However, I also smiled and chuckled out loud at all the lighter moments, humour and well written banter. ;-) I enjoy a story more when the main female character is intelligent, resilient, resourceful, self-reliant and has plenty of gumption. Sam ticked all my boxes and then some. I love her sense of humour, sarkiness and an innate sense of right and wrong. All the characters that Ms Wright has created for this series are complex and multifaceted which makes both the villains and heroes feel more believable. Once again, I downloaded the narration by Justine Eyre and P. J. Ochlan and enjoyed the variation that these actors brought to the duel point of view. My only remaining criticism is that, to my English ear, Ochlan's version of Sam's London accent not as good as Eyre's but I did get used to it as the story swept me away. The Bite That Binds is a bloody good book and I have already downloaded book 3 through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.

The Bite that bands - 2nd Deep in your Veins Book

Really enjoying the series will move on to the 3rd book, my only real Issue is the awful British/English accent for 'Samantha '. Its just so bad, it would have been better if the narrator hadn't tried so hard at a cockney voice which was just off putting. Other than that the narrator also left a note for the editor near the end of chapter 7 (about 1.05 secs from the end), its sad that the publisher let this pass, it obviously should have been edited out. So poor quality control there. All of this doesn't take away from the fact Suzanne Wright is an awesome writer and I will continue reading/listening to her awesome books.

Book 2

I really enjoyed this book, Suzanne is are great author,I own many of her books, I do have a tendency of sticking with my favourite author 's i always look forward to the next book or series before searching for newer author. I like that the narrator's managed to keep the character's sounding real. The story line is funny romantic hot in places and I honestly laughed while listening to this book

This second in series is as fantastic as the first

This is the second book in the Deep in Your Veins series and I am thoroughly enjoying it. The characters are a wonderful mix of good, evil and somewhere in between. Suzanne Wright has penned a series that is equally strong in both plot and characters. The romance and steamy moments are mixed with suspense, danger and adventure. Justine Eyre, P.J. Ochlan, the female and male narrators give us the same outstanding level of voice acting that we were introduced to in Here Be Sexist Vampires.

Very co fusing narration .

The narrator of the main female character couldn’t decide what accent to use and kept changing from cockney English to perfect diction. At times her accent was so broad she sounded like a twit.

***Suzanne Wright and her fantastical mind***

I have always love Suzanne and her books and this new series 'Deep in your Vains" is no different. This new series is totally different from her shifters series. This time she took on vampires is a very unique way that I haven't encountered before. Anyway its a fantastic series and I can't wait to read or listen to the next installment. Justine and PJ as the narrators are magnificent their just amazing and oh so very sexy *sighs*
