This book goes beyond activism and spirituality, showing how compassion shapes our personal lives, relationships, leadership, and society. Through stories of leaders like His Holiness and Kailash Satyarthi, it offers a clear Why, What & How for integrating compassion into everyday life.
Self: Self-compassion is a key takeaway—challenging the hustle culture with the idea that kindness toward oneself fosters kindness toward others.
Others: As a mother and professional, I found the insights on parenting and leadership especially relevant. Whether you’re a parent, educator, doctor, or policymaker, there’s something for you here.
World: The book also explores compassionate capitalism and India’s deep roots in non-violence and compassion, positioning these values as something India can share with the world—one of my favorite parts!
Why not 5 stars? The audiobook’s frequent Hindi-to-English translations were a bit disruptive. I wonder if reading would offer a smoother experience.
A powerful, thought-provoking read—highly recommended!
