About this listen

The place will be of their choosing.
The time will be of their choosing.
But the Indians will have their vengeance.
1025 CE, India.
Mahmud of Ghazni believes he has crushed the spirit of Bharat—the Shiva Linga at the Somnath temple lies shattered and thousands are dead.
But among the ashes of destruction, an oath is taken.
Five people—a Tamil warrior, a Gujarati merchant, a devotee of Lord Ayyappa, a scholar-emperor from Malwa and the most powerful man on Earth, Emperor Rajendra Chola—resolve to undertake a perilous quest and strike at the heart of the invader’s kingdom.
From the grandeur of the Chola Empire to the shadows of Ghazni’s bloodstained court, The Chola Tigers is the scintillating story of a fierce retaliation. A story of unity forged through pain, of courage born from despair, and of vengeance that becomes Dharma.

Another masterpiece from Amish, beautifully written and narrated. Helps the reader live into the moments of those times when we as Bharat vaasi were attacked, what was going through the minds and how we would have avenged the atrocities to innocent peace loving people of the times.

Beautifully written and narrated

The book aptly summarizes the pulse of the nation. Time to learn from the blunders of past and be seated at our rightful place in comity of nations. At start of the book, it seemed that author has inserted the character of Iqbal as exact replica of bollywood stereotype 'Rahim chacha ' and was genuinely disappointed. But after completion, beautiful subtle mesaage of author becomes clear. Every child of motherland irrespective of religion, caste, ethnicity, region etc. must find shelter in overarching umbrella of sanatan dharma.
No extraterritorial religious loyalties inimical to national interest will be tolerated.
Must listen book. JAI MAA BHARTI.

Sanatan resurgence

Won't be surprised if we get to see a TV series of this.
It is 100% recommended for someone who loves fiction and who enjoys listening to stories.
I've read other books by Amish too..
And I must say, no one encapsulates Indian Forklore and Epics like he does!
