Critic Reviews

The story is endlessly fun - full of mischief, adventure and magical twists that spark their imagination... It's amazing that the first book in the series was written in 1939, yet the story still feels fresh and full of magic for today's kids

I grew up loving and relishing Enid Blyton’s books. Recently, I chanced upon ‘the audio version of The Enchanted Wood’ and bought it, as a nostalgia trip and also because it was narrated by an actress I greatly admire - Kate Winslet. I’m so glad I did.
The story is delightful - Enid Blyton at her magical best. But Kate Winslet’s wonderfully expressive, cadenced reading brought the characters and story vividly to life and made it a truly enchanted tale.

An enchanting audio book
