Absolutely Great
This is the last book of the McMurtrie and Drake Legal Series. I was hooked with the first book. It is best to read the series in order. Robert Bailey was a new author to me when I read book one; now he is on my favorite author’s list.
The book is well written. The characters are interesting and believable. The suspense is almost unbearable. The scenes about cancer are realistic and are written with emotion. Only someone who had experience with cancer would be able to write so effectively about it. The ending was excellent in that it wrapped everything up.
This was a great series. I do hope Bailey has some more books coming. I highly recommend this series.
The book is nine hours and fifty-nine minutes. Eric G. Dove does an excellent job narrating this series. Dove is an actor, musician and a multiple Earphone Award winning audiobook narrator.

Awesome
I have truly enjoyed this series. Always lots of anticipation and hard to put down. As a lifetime Alabama fan, I appreciated the references to Bear Bryant and Alabama football. It made the story that much better. Can’t wait for next series. Keep up the good work.

Another Terrific Read! 👏👏👏
Was hoping for a denouement that included a Bo/Rick legal partnership w/them and District Attorney Powell as fighting more bad guys, gals, and judges. Nevertheless, looking forward to more great Robert Bailey stories with characters turning the air blue w/lots of entertaining macho cussing 🥰 but (hopefully) w/o the blasphemy spewing out of nearly every character’s mouth embedded throughout this otherwise superb trilogy. Roll Tide and Long Live Leroy!!!

Great tying up this story's loose ends
The Final Reckoning ties up the loose ends of this series. It is exciting and keeps you reading. As I've mentioned in reviews of the other books in this series, the overuse of profanity hinders rather than helps the progression of the storytelling. Although I don't have virgin ears, the massive use of God's name blasphemed offends me.

McMurtrie final Reckoning
I love this series and hate that my favorite attorney is gone. I know Robert Bailey said he was working on a new series, and would have some of the characters we know and some new ones. Will be waiting to see what's next, Long live Mcmurtrie!!!

Robert Bailey continues to deliver
I have become a huge fan of Mr. Bailey's work. The Final Reckoning is just as reviting and suspenseful as the previous books. I was a little dismayed at 96 chapters, but the action moves so fast that before I knew it, I was finished. Don't read this book of you have not yet finished the first 3 books.

A fitting end to a brilliant series
I listen to a lot of audiobooks and I must say that this series has been one of the most enjoyable and engrossing. Bailey has created a rich cast of characters, each with their own story and weaved around them a four book narrative that never slows or fails to keep you wanting more. Each of them could easily have their own series of stories. If that happens, I for one will look forward to them all.

I enjoyed it but
I have enjoyed this series but found this one quite hard to follow with its large cast of characters even though I had read the other books. It does rely upon previous knowledge of the story. Good narration.
