Till death do us part…

Luke Whitney is stabbed to death. His wife Anna confesses after she is found next to his lifeless body. But if she did it, why can't she confirm any of the details of the crime?

As police dig into the circumstances, they learn that the victim was a liar, a cheat and a narcissist. More than one person had a reason to want him dead; his scorned ex, his neglected mistress and Anna – who knows what happens to Mrs Whitneys when Luke gets bored of them.

Luke Whitney had it coming. But who made sure he got what he deserved?

The latest twisty, propulsive psychological thriller from international bestseller Jenny Blackhurst. Perfect for fans of Adele Parks, Claire Douglas and Shari Lapena.

I liked getting into the heads of these women, how they think or what they feel. It was amazing how we got the story from different perspectives. But the twist at the end was there for shock value and didn't actually add anything much to the story.

I liked how the story was told.

The story was fantastic but what took it beyond was the performance. Brilliant! I loved Pippa's voice the best btw.

Simple narrative, yet gripping. For a fan of Mystery and murder, this will keep you listening in till the end

The way the life's are all intertwined yet different

It felt like a standard issue brainless listen, but wasn't expecting to find intelligent takes on relationships, ego, pettiness. And the voice acting is high quality.

Decent story, but suprisingly insightful

The Final Wife by Jenny Blackhurst

🔖 Twisty, dark, and quietly addictive — I started it thinking I’d read a few chapters and ended up finishing half the book in one go.
🔖 I loved how the story slowly unravels, revealing secrets layer by layer — just when you think you’ve figured it out, another truth slips in.
🔖 The writing is sharp, emotional, and unpredictable — a perfect mix of “what’s next?” and “oh no, not that!”
🔖 The characters felt real, flawed, and hauntingly human — every one of them hiding something.
🔖 I enjoyed the tension between love, jealousy, and guilt — it’s messy, raw, and absolutely gripping.
🔖 The twist? Classic Jenny Blackhurst — unexpected, chilling, and the kind that makes you stare at the last page for a minute.

✨ Final Verdict:
A cleverly crafted domestic thriller that explores love, revenge, and how far people will go to protect their lies.

📖 Favorite Line:
"The truth doesn’t always set you free — sometimes it locks you in."

🔥 One-liner:
Every secret has a price. Some just cost more than others.
