The best story in the Lost Planet Homicide series so far. The overarching mystery deepens — you get real answers this time, but Correia earns them by raising sharper questions in their place. The hi-tech serial killer drives a genuinely gripping chase, and his pacing locks you in and doesn't let go.

The AI Paladin is a standout addition — unexpected, well-handled, and memorable. Oliver Wyman delivers another excellent performance, capturing the gritty atmosphere and noir feel of Croatoan with a voice that feels made for this world. The novella format remains the perfect fit: tight enough to finish in a single listening session, punchy enough to leave you wanting more.

If the series keeps this trajectory, it's shaping up to be something special.
