Publisher's Summary

Lisbeth Salander is a wanted woman. Two Millennium journalists about to expose the truth about sex trafficking in Sweden are murdered, and Salander's prints are on the weapon. Her history of unpredictable and vengeful behaviour makes her an official danger to society - but no-one can find her.

Mikael Blomkvist, Millennium magazine's legendary star reporter, does not believe the police. Using all his magazine staff and resources to prove Salander's innocence, Blomkvist also uncovers her terrible past, spent in criminally corrupt institutions. Yet Salander is more avenging angel than helpless victim. She may be an expert at staying out of sight - but she has ways of tracking down her most elusive enemies.

Mesmerizing

Absolutely loved the slow, steady pace of Saul Reichlins reading. The combination of the gripping story combined with the calm reading was brilliant. I will be looking for more books read by him. I'm rooting for Lisbeth Salander and am very happy to have found another 2 sequels.

Gripping sequel

This book is a continuation of the first book in the millenium series. The author creates a vivid world of gangsters, traffickers and corrupt officials and the protagonist, Lisbeth right in the middle of all of it.

A few scenes are predictable, but the book nevertheless keeps the reader on the edge of their seat, albeit not as much as the first book.
The last chapter is captivating and brings in twists wholly unexpected.

Good listen.

One of those rare cases where a sequel is better

One of those rare cases where a sequel is better than the first book. Looking forward to the next one which thanks to technology, I'm starting right away.
