Firstly, THE AUDIOBOOK of this one...oh my freaking goodness... Absolute Must Listen and LIT naration.
The story right from the start had me intrigued and it quickly turned into one that had me melting and feeling emotional for Little Bea and Jack and the grief that still lived between them like an unwanted guest.
Camille finds a letter in the bookstore she works at and seems to feel connected to it somehow. The couple in the picture calls out to her, making her curious to see the love between them and wanting to find out what happened to them and where they are at now.
Camille intends to just find the address to return that letter after she finds a disturbing turn has taken place.
But when she walks in, what she didn't expect was to be interviewing for the position of a nanny for Little Bea.
A New City and a New life, Camille instantly connects to little Bea while she sees her father being a recluse and not even talking to his own daughter.
I loved how Camille slowly makes her own life in Paris, the city she always wanted to live in but also the way she cares for Bea had my heart. I just couldn't stop feeling so much with every giggle, every smile that little Bea and Camille shared.
Jack is very secretive and even though Camille has been told not to disturb him but one fine day she finds something that leaves her shocked and completely changes things for them, when she finds her way in a Club which is not just a Club but where she sees Jack binding a woman in ropes and it looks like an art that has Camille's interest piqued to the max.
The way Camille understands both Jack and little Bea was so sweet.
She likes what she shares with Jack, although he does his best to resist crossing the employer-employee line with her, but THE CHEMISTRY between them is so intense and the tension just keeps rising between them.
My goodness.....let me just say, listening to the spicy scenes in this book and the way Jason Clarke and Meg Sylvan has narrated it WILL HAVE YOU MELTING AND GASPING...It's just so filthy and beyond HOTTTT.🥵🔥🌶️🌶️
This story was so beyond beautiful and heart-touching but also maintained the balance with hotness and spice and takes us along a ride where there might have been unbearable grief, but we see sweet healing mending hearts and also bringing smiles and happiness to a family that needed it the most in the form of a woman who somehow finds herself, through fate or something, in their midst, and becomes the center of their world.
Loved loved this one. Can't wait to dive into the next one.😍
