Great stories! Not such a great narrator.

This contains a collection of classic detective stories in a total of 24 chapters. I started with 'The Tea-Leaf' (which is a classic jewel like all others here), however the narration rubbed the wrong way immediately. The narrator for some reason, spoke with an odd tone, breaking the speech as one would do while reciting a poem.
I continued with the hope that this tone would end with the first story. Alas, the whole book looks to have the same style.
I picked a random chapter from the middle, but stopped within minutes and did not come back for more.

I would not recommend this version-Definitely a learning for me to try the sample before purchasing.

Dull narration makes it worthless.

Audiobooks should be recorded by more than voice in case listeners don't like one.
