It was good... but that’s all
This is the second book I have read where I found the heroine to be kind of boring. I absolutely loved A Highlanders Gift, so I thought I would try another book by this author but I’m not sure I will continue. I started to lose interest towards the end. In fact I think I zoned out for the last chapter.
I think Antony Ferguson does a wonderful job with his voices, although I didn’t care for how he made Robert the Bruce sound. He made him sound more noble and aristocratic, when I picture him as a mans man. He became king because he was a fighter and lead the Scots as rogues, so I didn’t care for his voice. But he does great accents and I love his voice for the Hero.

Lovely
I love all Eliza Knights love story. This one was a little twisted where Cara and Liam had a secret. I won’t say because I don’t want to be a spoiler. But it’s full of Knight fightings and action packed with a happily ever after.
On to book 4
Happy reading 📖

The Secret Wife
I did like this story but not quite as much as the story of Blair. All of the books in this series were great and I have found the Highlander stories have become my all time favorite Anthony Ferguson is a great narrator for these books. His accent just makes the books so real to life.

less is more
I loved the story but it was really irritating when someone asked a question in the story it took 10 mins of the character analysing their feelings before it got back to the question. it felt like it was just getting padded out, the narrator was very good and engaging. puts me off getting anymore of her books unfortunately.
