I got tempted to pick this up after seeing a recent piece of fan art. I probably should’ve known better, but unfortunately I ended up using my Audible credit on it.

I really wanted to give it a fair chance, even though the first 4–5 chapters literally had me falling asleep. Still, I tried to listen to it properly and pushed through for a while.

But this just wasn’t it for me.

Honestly, I’m not even sure what more to say. I came across a one-star review that perfectly summed up my thoughts, and I have to admit I agreed with it more than ever. If you’re curious, I’d honestly just recommend checking out that review, it captures exactly how I feel about this book.
