Does not disappoint.

One wild and utterly enjoyable ride. Excellent narration. If these stories didn't lens themselves so we'll to binge listening I would have gotten so much more done today.
Eagerly awaiting the next installment(s).

Another great book

Just like all the other books, this is yet another great title! Time to start the next one in the series! What a great story Coupled with the perfect narrator! I'm getting scared because I'm about to start the last one available on audible, however Kong has said the the other 2 are in the way. The only gripe I have is a small one and is expected in all RPG games and that is the fact that there are more missions abound than the ones that are getting resolved. I do understand this is job security in a way. However, at the current list of task and the time it takes to complete one, we will need another 5 books just to solve the current workload. Anyways, I still stand by the fact that this is my number 1 series in books ever done! Invest in your imagination! Slay your enemies, Honor your allies, Live!

I'm addicted

I can't afford to be addicted but here I am. I'm trying really hard not to get the next book until Im stuck at work for twelve hours and need help getting through but the way the story is told it feels as though I'm right that the front of the experience. I can't help but want to continue with the adventure.

My favorite audiobook of the year!

My son introduced me to this book and I picked up the audiobook for a long work commute. The narrator is probably the best I've ever heard. The book itself is a combination of Piers anthony punny humor, world building, and a dude encountering a plethora of "oh crap" situations. I've read the series twice and don't plan on stopping. Well worth the time/cost.

2:02 am and hooked like a fish.

The title says it all. I need to get some sleep so I'm gonna have to come back to fill this out but the pop culture references and action. The story is keeping things alive and a great tempo all in all. I just hope a video game deal comes from this or eso gets updated a bit more or some game is released that ties into the story because that would be sweet.

Losing it's way

I found the first two compelling, but this one seems to have descended into juvenile humour and casual misogyny. Also the ratio of actual story action to reading out of stat sheets and notifications has changed for the worse.

Nick Podehl’s prowess as a narrator is impossible to ignore - he really brings these books to life in full colour with his voices and nuanced tone range.

By kroms beard this is epic

Welcome back to the land, where mystery and adventure will captivate you’re mind, along with a little DID THAT REALLY JUST HAPPEN.

Richter is learning how to be a lord how his people look up to him, need his guidance, and also how much he needs them.

The relationships with other characters such as randy are moving in to new territory which still needs work.

If you like gaming, or just brilliantly crafted story telling this book if for you.

good

It's good and enjoyable, except that there are a few factual inconsistencies. e.g. the MC will level up a skill and then later on will gain the same level ...

So Gripping!

Nick Podehl brings this brilliant story to life. Centering the story around the growth and experience of Richter draws you in so well. For me, rather than it feeling like 'reading a stats book' as some have said, the detail of levelling and experience only causes a deeper understanding of the central character. Great stuff!

Leveling up!

I have read the two books leading up to this one. Let me tell you! The books (just like the character from the story) are leveling up in quality. The addition of sound effects are also sensational... When I hear a sound prompt I pump my hand in the air for for our beloved Chaos Seed!

Being a school principal myself as delightful and light hearted as the story is. I would not recommend it for anyone under the age of 15... Simple because the language is so vulgar. If there was an abridged version without cause language and the cutting (spoiler alert) of certaon appendages, this book would be enjoyed by a much larger audience!

Over all another 5 stars from me.

If you enjoyed this book I strongly suggest:
- Ready Player One
- Off to be a wizard

would have returned if not 3 books in

I really like the story and world of these books but the sound effects ruin the experience. no game gongs ship bells or chimes hammers every prompt when going through a list of 20 prompts and no real gamer would go through that without Turing sound effects off in the options. they are irritating, out of place, and I can't believe any editor/publisher listened to the final product any approved it.
