Not Andersen's Versions
The narrators were great, but the stories were abridged versions of Hans Christian Andersen's stories or they were changed entirely. I expect some differences between versions because of different translations, but the ending to the Little Mermaid is completely altered to be a happy ending. I would not be so frustrated if this was represented as someone else's interpretation of the stories, but to present these as the full-length versions of these stories as Andersen wrote them is misleading and inaccurate.

Changed the ending?
This isn’t the original. It’s got an alternate ending that seems like a knock off of the Disney ending.

Changed the Ending
The ending of The Little Mermaid was changed completely. This is not the Hans Christian Andersen story but a fan fic with an unknown author.

Little Mermaid is the highlight
Of all the stories The Little Mermaid is the most engaging in regards to performance and story and for this story alone is deserving of five stars. Glad it came with my subscription because it is short but good bedtime story.

The book is not a book rather a theatrical play with the narrators voice, my child is captivated immediately!

Timeless stories told beautifully
Four beautiful stories read so well by the readers. I enjoyed every bit of it and I am sure the young ones I share them with will also do.

Heavily modified versions
Very heavily modified versions of the stories, the ending is nothing like Andersen, especially in Little Mermaid.
Good narration, but terrible edition of the tales to read.

Not hans christian Andersen
Not the original Hans Christian Andersen stories. You should list the actual author of these stories. Otherwise good narration.

R rated
The only thing good about this book was the narrator. I kept hoping that somebody would have morals, but there’s not one single character to like. Please don’t waste your time.
