Not only a battle of wits, but also a true show of valour

Extremely witty especially the innkeeper Giuseppe. I laughed out loud when he says of the lieutenant to Napoleon, ‘Make him a General and everything he says will be right!’. He’s witty like William Shakespeare’s Fool in King Lear— Give me an egg and I will give you true crowns!
I loved listening to the play.
