the dailogs of character were referred as "said"
words like "asked" "questioned" "exclaim" could be replaced to express more emphasis on emotions and dailog

The author cleverly uses Deus ex machina without which otherwise the storyline was impossible to conclude. Between the two sets of stories with over a dozen characters there's a lot of back and forth but is well justified. The narrator has also done a commendable job! Overall, a decent read.
