Publisher's Summary

Originally produced in 1971 and updated in 1995, the NASB has been widely embraced and trusted as a literal English translation. Now, the NASB 2020 improves accuracy where possible, modernizes language, and improves understandability. These refinements maintain faithful accuracy to the original texts and provide a clear understanding of God’s word to those who prefer more modern English standards. The long-established translation standard for the NASB remains the same as it always has been, that is to accurately translate the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts of the Bible into modern English that is clearly understandable today.

Narrated by Larry Williams, who is committed to communicating the word of God clearly through his narration of the Bible.

The NASB has been produced with the conviction that the words of Scripture, as originally penned in the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, were inspired by God.

Why Galatians in KJV?

Larry Williams does a fine job; however, the book of Galatians is read in the King James Version. Don’t know what other chapters might be in the KJV. Just know that this is not all NASB 2020.

Needs to be pulled

So our Church is currently studying Galatians. Thought I'd get a headstart on next week's study in chapter 6, and it's not in the NASB, it's KJV. Contacted Lockman Foundation hopefully they will get with Made for Success and get this resolved. Not sure if there are any other areas with this issue, I stumbled upon it by chance.

*Update* Colossians Chapter 1 is also in the KJV. I'm positive there are more. Lockman Foundation returned my call and said they are aware of the issues.

Why KJV in certain chapters?

Customers who purchased didn’t pay for the KJV , so hopefully the publisher will correct this issue. Still great , but want what I paid for.

Ok audio quality, 2 books in KJV

The audio quality is not consistent from one book to another. The narrator is good, but how they have EQ’d his voice is different from book to book.

Also, 25 of the 27 New Testament books are from the 2020 NASB, but Galatians and Colossians were a different narrator and were from the KJV. What is up with that? I haven’t checked the entire OT, but to have any part of this audio recording in the KJV is not okay.

Galatians

Galatians is not in the 2020 version. Please update this book. I’m not sure of any other books. All the others I’ve listened to so far are in the updated version

Engaging.

I enjoy reading my NASB 2020 Bible accompanied with the narration of Mr. Williams on a regular basis. It has been a great investment and reading my Bible along with the audio narration is time well spent. I just would like to bring to the attention of the editors the fact that some New Testament books are not in the NASB 2020 version and apparently not read by Mr. Williams either (Colossians is an example). Also, this may be picky, but I can hear the clicks of the mouse between some of the verses (like in Psalm 105:4). Thank you for putting this work together. I highly recommend it.

Strongly recommend!

This is an excellent narration of the newly revised, beautiful, highly readable NASB 2020. I am grateful that each track/chapter is clearly labeled so that it is easy to find any chapter in any book.

Great but not complete

you realize the Book of Obadiah is missing from this? You took out a whole book of the Bible. no matter how short it is, this is wrong.

This is NOT just the NASB Bible

Other reviews mention the fact that they've discovered parts of the NKJV in the New Testement and I noticed for instance in Colossians the use of the KJV. What's going on here. The chapter problems that previously existed are fixed but now this. Better buy the New and Old Testament separately. Very bad!

Galatians & Colossians in KJV not NASB 2020

Whilst its great to have chapters & books split out, However Galatians and Colossians are still KJV and not NASB 2020. Its been months since the issue was reported to Audible & Lockman and still not been fixed. I noticed the NT download version sold seperately has the correct versions for those 2 books so it shouldn't take this long to get fixed.
