25 episodes of the flagship topical comedy show presented by Steve Punt and Hugh Dennis.
The Now Show is a much-loved stalwart of radio comedy. Featuring some of the best and brightest contemporary comedians, this award-winning show takes a satirical look at the news through a mix of stand-up, songs and sketches, as well as interview segments in which experts in their field explain the facts behind the headlines.
In these three series, hosts Steve Punt and Hugh Dennis are joined by special guests including Andy Zaltzman, Pippa Evans, Luke Kempner, Mae Martin, Daliso Chaponda, Jake Yapp, Eshaan Akbar, Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Vikki Stone. Among the subjects they contend with are International Women’s Day, comic relief, Christmas ads, Twitter panic, Doctor Who, Cambridge Analytica, the Skripal poisonings in Salisbury and Stormy Daniels.
In three special episodes of The Vote Now Show, the team look across the political spectrum to give their own unique take on the 2017 election shenanigans. Among those joining them on the hustings are Tiffany Stevenson, Freya Parker, Ellie Taylor, Emma Sidi and Geoff Norcott.
Plus, two shows recorded at the Edinburgh Festival provide some Fringe-based comedy from performers including Fern Brady, Loyiso Gola, New Comedy Award-winner Stephen Buchanan and Edinburgh Best Newcomer nominee Sarah Keyworth.
