The scenario was enough to shatter any wife and could have possibly numbed the scientist in her. However, Dr. Steffanie Strathdee balanced it very beautifully.The scientist in Dr. Steffanie Strathdee was searching for ways to treat her husband while the wife in her was constantly supporting and taking care of him amidst all her emotional downside.
We often come across antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in the media, but the personal experience of Steffanie Strathdee and Thomas Patterson was frightening. This book succeeded in illustrating the seriousness and potential threats of AMR.
The perfect predator is fascinating both in the microbiological perspective and a wife's fight for her husband's life.
