Fantastic Fantasy

Oh this was a fantastic fantasy! What a wonderful story about Eastern and Western worlds coming together to fight the common enemy, leaving behind all their traditions and beliefs. So much history and so many twists and secrets unraveling at each step forward. Each character was an important part in the entire journey. I was left with such silence after I was done with the book. I lived in the world for such a short time and yet it felt like a lifetime. The rise of the Nameless One and his vanquish was painted out to perfection with such detailing that I felt at the middle of it all. A grand book indeed. Worthy of all the praises bestowed. The narrative made it more beautiful a journey.

Good one, but really long

An interesting fantasy with lots of mythical creatures
and a plot filled with forbidden love, betrayal and a dragon sized battle in the end. The narrator has a heavy accent that was a challenge to understand and though her attempt to do the multiple voices is commendable, some of them were bad and didn't seem to convey the correct emotion required.

A decent read

Good for anyone who likes the genre. Pacing is a bit rushed at the end though.

Fantastic Journey into Fantasy

This is GOT on steroids. Although not as elaborate amd detailed as GOT, this is spell-binding nevertheless. Better than Harry Potter. Beautiful world-building and one of the best climaxes in Fantasy ever. Chef's Kiss. 💋💋💋

Bad narration

The story is pretty decent, some plot twists are actually nice. But the narration is horrible, just read this one, do not listen to the audiobook.

Mediocre Story, Good narration

The narrator has done her best but it is impossible to enjoy so many characters voiced by a single person in such a long listen. Some accents and voices are really grating and difficult to enjoy.
The book starts well but drags. For all the build up given and characters developed, the end is rather abrupt.
I truly enjoy novels where women play a main role but this took it too far. I ended up getting a kind of 'Mary-Sue' feeling towards one of the protagonists.
In addition, some characters were developed just to be tossed aside with no role at all.
Too long, no real depth, you feel nothing for any of the characters.

don't waste your time on this

you would think a fantasy novel with dragons and strong female characters would be amazing . it wasn't. it was a cramped confusing mes that was way too long
