Not sure why it was under romantic comedy
This was an okay book even though it was abit predictable. I'm really sure why it was listed under romantic comedy because I never out right laughed but there were a few places that I snickered. Not worth a credit but I paid 1.99 because I have Kindle unlimited so it was worth that.

I love all of her books
I believe I own all of her books I will listen to or read anything she has written. I may not be the best person to say this but everything I have read by Melissa Foster deserves five stars or more.

I want my credit and the last several hours of my life back
Ridiculous. Narrator's voice is unbearable, the story is as deep as a paper towel. And the alpha male vs. helpless female is eye-rolling.

it dragged
at first I thought the book had potential the storyline was pretty good but as the story started to drag on and on I couldn't finish the book. don't get me wrong I love romance books and I don't need to listen to a book that has lots of sex and even though this book does have Intimacy in it the problem is is that I just keep dragging on how she felt how he felt. I do like John Lane he's one of my favorite narrators he's one of my favorites but even with his sexy voice I still couldn't finish the book I'm curious about the other characters to see if there will be books about them but just because this book dragged I will not get it

Ummmmm..
So I get when a guy is the narrator it's sometimes hard for him to do believable female voices, but John Lane's voice was SO deep as a male to compensate that it became irritating after while. Seriously, his female voice was fine and there was no need to GO SO LOW. It was a nice love story but it could have been 4 chapters shorter.

Narrator was great, story frustrating
Storyline could have been stronger, but about what I expected. Both characters become annoying after a while, but enjoyed enough to finish. I like Melissa Foster, so I'll likely explore other titles.

Narration Was Great

I love Melissa Foster's books. I always feel so good after reading one. But, and it is a but that I am sad to have to state, I could not get into this book. There was really nothing about it that made me want to see it through other than I hate to give up on a book.
I just didn't feel it. I didn't feel any chemistry between Zane and Willow. Willow seemed really whiny to me. It was a real struggle for me to get through this book, and it was an experience I have never had with this writer's work. It was boring!
I would recommend you read it. It could have just been me. I will read book two because I have found that sometimes in a series the 2nd book is better than the 1st.

I did not realize I had read this book already. Had no memory of the storyline. I discovered I had read it when I went to write my rev about the audio version. SMH!
I did like the narrator. I thought he did a great job. The story still did nothing for me. I am so tired of whiny women who think no one could possibly love me with all of my "flaws". So irritating.

Too good for words
I have fallen in love with this series. And yes I have read them out of order because I am a ding bat. This book simply rocks. Zane and Willow will blow your socks off. They are perfect for each other. So if you love romance, the good kind that makes your toes curl then buy this book.

so so amazing
This is Willow and Zane's story. If you have read future books about this family that will not take away from the brilliant love story of these two. Willow and Zane have wanted each other for years. Neither had the guts to make the move until Zane needs someone to help clean up his reputation. Willow isn't sure about this but can love ever be denied? I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone

I love The Real Thing and this audio book narrator is perfect for it. He sounds exactly how I imagine Zane would. Beautiful story about two best friends helping each other and the voice to go with it sounds sexy as anything. Perfect

Sugary and Sweet
As my title says this was a definite sweet tale of two friends Willow and Zane. As Willow embarks on life at College/University she wants to go but wants to lose her Virginity and can only think of one Man for the job Zane. They part ways as he goes off to the life of an actor/celebrity and she opens a bakery. Years pass as they get on with their lives but still keep in touch. They get together and as he has a bad boy reputation and wants to clean up his act or so he says they come up with a fake engagement, well he proposes it and Willow after much deliberation agrees, plus it brings publicity for her bakery. Then follows lots of miss understandings and hidden feelings bubble to the surface. As we follow their story how we find out how much is fake and how much is true feelings, is it a one sided affair or do they both feel the same? Read it and find out.
This is a light read a touch predictable but a great one if you have just read a heavy hard hitting thriller and want something lighthearted.
