About this listen

Does true love really exist, or is it just a cliché? Can a single kiss really change your life?

At 16 Diksha, like any girl her age, finds her life revolving around school, boys and endless hours of fun with her best friend. But one day all that changes. What starts as an innocent crush explodes into something far beyond her control.

Eighteen years later she finds herself at the crossroads of life. Urged by a twist of events, a wish list is born. But can a wish list help her piece her life back together? Will she succumb to the tangled mess of an extramarital relationship?

Once again Preeti Shenoy brings an extraordinary story that tugs at the heartstrings, with insight and wisdom, as she explores the delicate matters of the heart. The Secret Wish List is a captivating, engrossing, racy tale about following your heart, chasing your dreams and the meaning of friendship.

Oh wow..!!! Mind blowing. This story touched my heart. I moved a lot..! I could relate so many things with my personal life. I am still can't believe how Preeti can sense beauty of life which happens in common man life and write everything on her work. I wish to read all of her work as soon as possible.

Changing attitudes captured

This book tries to depict the changes in the Society's attitude towards marriage/extra marietal relationships. It throws an angle saying everything is OK and by this, persons involved are liberated. Alas, Western world, after all these, are going back to the Indian values/virtues, whereas, we're madly following them, it’s a cycle, we may probably have to go through.

Kudos to the Author, for nicely bringing the feelings of a woman and also to the Narrator for excellenly presenting the novel, making it a pleasurable experience in listening to it.

Good story with a nice narration

Story from everyday lives. Everyone has it hut no one talks about it. Every character presented in fair realism. Such a good listen with perfect ending!

Cliched Bollywood story

Seemed more like a Bollywood movie script. The author has tried to portray the protagonist - Diksha's life - boring marriage, cliched husband, smart kid, typical parental pressure with a series of serendipitious twists like Salsa, ex best friend, ex boy friend and thereby escaping routine life through it. The author could have built the side characters like Ankit, Gaurav and Tanu better. Audible narration was decent.
