Publisher's Summary

This series of talks is on one of the most esoteric treatises in the world. It will show you the way to become more than the body and the way to bloom - how not to remain a seed but to become a golden flower. What, in India, they call the one thousand-petalled lotus, in China they call the golden flower. It is a symbol that represents perfection, totality. Moreover, the flower represents the actualization of the potential - the beauty, the grandeur, the splendor of being.

This treatise, The Secret of Secrets: The Secret of the Golden Flower, is very ancient, possibly one of the most ancient treatises in the world - at least 25 centuries old. But 25 centuries can be traced back very easily. And this treatise is also, uniquely, a great synthesis of all the great religions. The Bible belongs to the Christians, the Talmud belongs to the Jews, the Vedas belong to the Hindus, the Dhammapada to the Buddhists, the Tao Te Ching to the Taoists. But this small book, The Secret of Secrets: The Secret of the Golden Flower, belongs to no one in particular, or it belongs to all. It is heavily based on Taoist teachings, a flowering of the Taoist approach to life and existence. But it is not only that. Zarathustra has played a role; his teachings are incorporated within it. Buddhist teachings have also been integrated, and a certain esoteric school of Christians, the Nestorians, have played their part. It is one of the most synthetical approaches.

These 31 talks will introduce you to a world of consciousness, meditation, and a transformative space - it's a pure joy to listen to Osho.

It is Osho's, what else I could say! Thank you

You will be transformed completely. Truth is here. I challenge my fellow readers that they cannot be the same self after hearing it. You will be given a new pair of eyes to deduct the ugliness underneath all the civilisation you have undergone through. Truth will be your eternal companion.

Final Teaching

Osho is one of a kind spiritual genius. His lectures completely destroy ignorance and directly goes to the heart of it. Ultimately, you either get it or you don't. That's how it is meant to be and not have a lukewarm understanding. Humanity is trapped in shame and guilt and Osho brings out all human repression & taboo to the forefront to dissect and explain where exactly the problem lies.

Secrets Revealed

Powerful book! Love Osho and his lectures. I found this book to be extremely intense and very informative. He covers everything. However it was also very repetitive of some of his other work and at times could drag along. The lectures themselves had a redundancy to them and were very politically charged and biased. Like most spiritual leaders and activists, I found him to be have a great overall message but laden heavy with ego.

Another Osho Masterpiece

These 31 talks by Osho are indeed a work of art. Combining his skill as a University professor with the infused presence of a buddha, Osho gives both brilliant discourse and timeless satsang at once. Osho's knowledge of human nature, psychology, philosophy, history and religion delight the intellect while the radiance of his Being delights the soul. Running as a thread through all his talks is Osho's vision of the New Man: the whole man who is both able to enjoy the delights of the outer senses while also delving into the innermost depths of consciousness. 5 stars for Osho!

The Golden flower is opening

A beautiful and inspiring interpretation of one of the most mysterious Taoist texts: The Golden Flower.

Osho had a superb intelligence and unparalleled communication skills to reveal the intricacies and secrets of the Golden Flower to the western people.

One to level up

What can I say about this book? It's one of the most advanced teachings I've recieved. It's not brief at 53 hours, but you get a real sense of the depth and nuance of the teaching of the Tao by hearing Osho speak it himself. Each teaching is interspersed with question period and takes place over 3 month retreat.

This one has definitely leveled me up. It's brought clarity to certain teachings like the heart Sutra. It's helped me understand certain esoteric experiences I've had that no one else has had the context to help explain. These are direct, finite experiences. Imagine my surprise when I hear them in this book!
